Rhonda asks Cheryl if she ever used their son as a pawn against Troy. She says no. Rhonda points out that she is the one that left and took him. Troy tries to tell her feedback and she tells him she doesn’t want to hear it right now. They stop her and tell her that this is about being in control. They have Troy give feedback. Troy says that she won’t admit when she is wrong. Cheryl keeps blaming Troy and saying what he did. This is when Iyanla says to her, “he was in a chat room and you were in another man’s bed. How dare you put it all on Troy.” Cheryl keeps battling back.
Cheryl ends up with a B and she is crying really hard.
Simon is up. His goal is learning to love himself so that he can open up with his wife. The others get to say what improvements they have seen. While Lou is telling how Simon is really opening up, we hear Cheryl doing that snorting crying. Lou stops and looks at her and tells her to Breathe Let one out and suck in. Stop doing that, Jen tells her that we are not judging her and Lou says we love you.
Rhonda tells Simon when he got there she really didn’t think he was ready to be there, but she has really been happy with what she had seen him do. Iyanla adds that she still doesn’t think that they have really seen Simon’s truth. She tells him that she knows how challenging this has been for him and that it has probably been harder for him than anyone else in the house. She tells him that she is giving him his grade not just because of who he is but who he is becoming. They have Kacie read his grade to him. He gets an A and he really starts crying and thanks for everyone’s help.
