Page 4 of 13 Cheryl said by the second tire. Rhonda tells Cheryl that she never asks for help or asks for Rhonda to stop the clock and what that says about her. Cheryl says she can’t ask for help and that she pushes through the pain all the time. Rhonda points out that Lou and Jen didn’t fire a shot and asks Cheryl if she knows why. Cheryl is kind of crying, and Rhonda tells her it’s because they saw she was hurting and needed support. Rhonda says they were doing what they could to help because Cheryl wouldn’t help herself. Next Kacie and Simon go through next. They seem to have an okay time. Rhonda asks how they feel they did and Kacie says she felt support and respect and that Simon communicated with her well.
She said she felt safe. Simon said good job and they gave each other a hug. Kacie in the confessional says that she feels they did an excellent job. She said it was about them doing it as a team and Simon protecting her. She said it wasn’t about them winning, but about doing it together. Lou and Jen are up next and they are moving through really well together and are barely being hit by the other couples’ shots. Finally, Michael and Jaclyn are up. Jaclyn in voice over says they didn’t work well as a team at all and they worked against each other. She says that the obstacle course really did show them that’s exactly what they do in their relationship. Michael says that was terrible and Rhonda asks what. He said they just weren’t working together. Rhonda tells them they will not be getting alone time tonight. Rhonda asks them what they learned and Troy says that they will keep going even through the pain. Rhonda also tells them not to be afraid to ask for help.
Lou and Jen won the room for the night. Rhonda asks them what they learned and Lou says they cooperate really well when they want to and Jen says she felt them plug in when they started to tune in when they started to struggle. Jen then raises their hand and says they want to give the room to Troy and Cheryl. Lou in confessional says that they didn’t want to give up the room because they wanted to go in there and enjoy themselves for a little while, but it occurred to them they don’t like sleeping together anyway, so they decided to give the room to Cheryl and Troy. Rhonda tells Cheryl and Troy that Lou and Jen are giving them the gift of alone time tonight.
