Farrah is back to encouraging Lisa. She feels like she’s bothering people who are trying to buy food. She tries the first two; they decline. He tells her more confidence this time. Declined again. And again. Farrah keeps encouraging; she’s getting closer he tells her. She again begins to cry. Farrah says it’s time to make some noise! He marches Lisa over to a table full of people. Two sales! Farrah says Lisa is learning to get out of her comfort zone. Comfort is the enemy of achievement he says. She starts selling like crazy! She sells them all. She seems pretty proud of herself.
Allison dresses for the “funeral”. She tells Jessica and TJ that there’s trouble at home, so she’s stressing more.
Lisa and Farrah are chatting and she’s excited. He asks her what she wants to do in life. She doesn’t know, but she likes people and enjoys asking people questions. He tells her she needs to ask herself two questions. One; what comes easy to me, but not to others? And two; what would I do for years and years and never get paid for it? Three; find a way to give back. A service.
Jessica meets with Dr. Debra Medal. She asks Jessica what she knows about post traumatic stress disorder. It is a normal reaction to abnormal events the dr. tells her. The trauma has already happened but your body is reacting as though it’s still happening. Recurring thoughts. For Jessica, high rise buildings, smell of burning, sirens are all symptoms of the disorder.
