We first see Mr. Ozzy diggin’ in Christina’s bed and the ladies getting ready to face the day.  In the kitchen, TJ, Allison, Jessica, Christina and Lisa are gathered.  TJ says she is uncomfortable all the time.  Allison asks if her medication is not helping her at all.  TJ says being uncomfortable is an anxiety.  TJ says her anxiety is about lack of self worth.  Lisa points out that it’s like a baby who’s uncomfortable and because they don’t have the words, you don’t know how to help them.  There’s a fire in the toaster oven.  Allison tells Christina not to do bacon in it anymore.  She’s feeling like they’re making a big deal out of nothing.  It wasn’t a wild fire and it’s out.

Lisa and Allison are speaking in preparation for Lisa’s parents’ arrival.  Lisa is nervous and anxious.

Christina is seen cleaning up the toaster oven mess and not looking too happy.
Jill is on the phone with her doctor.  She’s following up on his advice to get the surgery within 30 days.  Two weeks recovery time; no driving.  After that, a month before normal function and two months more before she can do any exercise.  She will be in pain.  She shares in confessional that staying with her mother in Florida through all that would kill her quicker than the tumour would.

Dr. Stan arrives and meets with Lisa.  He wants to help her understand how her parents’ behaviour have helped to form the woman Lisa has become.  She says her mother admitted that they didn’t raise her with any structure.  What about expectations Dr. Stan asks.  Lisa says she was a good kid.  Her mother has suggested she get married so they can quit taking care of her.  She admits she’s holding back tears.  Dr. Stan says it’s sad to consider that her parents were not child-oriented.  What would she like them to know?  That she’s angry.  They never gave her the life skills she needed so she’s having to learn them now on her own and that’s hard and embarrassing.
