Did anyone see Monique on The View yesterday? It was unreal. She dogged Joy as if she was hired to do it. She acted friendly enough to Barbara and Elisabeth but she hated Joy. She even said to Joy's face on the air, that she wanted to stay on the panel with Barbar and Elisabeth and get Joy off! I didn't take it as a joke, especially taken in the context of all the other hateful remarks she said to Joy through out the show.

I have not been able to find anything on-line about the conflama, but, my secretary says she heard about it on the radio.....they said something about someone, she thought Barbara, had asked Monique how her creatures(children) were doing. This upset her. I don't recall if or who said it. Does anyone recall if it was said. If Barbara said it, why was she so friendly with her and ticked at Joy? I taped it, but, recorded over it today. RATS.... I was so uncomfortable with Monique's treatment of Joy that I actually fast forwarded in some places. I was embarrased for Monique.
She owes Joy an apology and she should not come back to The View. She was not funny, only rude and obnoxious. And I used to like her.

I did find an artlcle on The Insider that reports that Monique was kicked off her airplane on the way to New York to appear on The View!! Security was called and she was asked to deboard the plane. They said she was a threat. No further details were given. I wonder if this lady is losing it.

Joy also seemed to have a hard time today. She appeared upset about being shut out by cross talk.
I think she is hilarious, but being a bit thin skinned. In the past she has frequently overun others in the same fashion and just tossed it off or glazed over it.

I would definitely not call Joy thin skinned. She does usually speak her mind, but, Monique went overboard yesterday. It was uncalled for. Even if it didn't bother Joy...it bothered me, and I actually like to see a little verbal sparring.

I noticed this too..............Joy seemed to be extremely angry and making those nasty egging-on remarks to Monique because she felt threatened by another mouthy comedienne. At least that's the way it seemed to me! Now, don't get me wrong............I can only take so much of EITHER of them!!!!!

Maybe a taste of things to come... regarding working the show with another comedienne. (Rosie and Joy)

The View website a day or so ago was saying Mo'Nique was going to be the celebrity guest host on Friday. Maybe after Mo's show on Monday...they could replace her.. But some of these shows are prerecorded.. Maybe they tape a couple shows a day.. Some shows do that.. I think it was why Star was still in some segments and show the week or so after her departure.

Grizz, it's interested that you saw it as Joy being the aggressor and not the other way around. I wish I still had the tape. The only thing that Joy said in opposition to Monique was about nanny's not really being family. Except for that comment, I thought it was Monique on the offensive and Joy in shock. Regardless, Monique was not funny IMO. Sometimes I think she tries too hard.

I heard on the news last night that the problem on the plane was that she had a blow dryer in her carry on bag and got into an argument with the flight attendent when questioned about it. I don't know what I think about that. That seems like a crazy thing to be kicked off a plane for. I wonder if she is attempting to match Star with her Diva self.
