Kgurl,

Don't worry, we've all done it one time or another! Kathy Hilton's wikipedia did mention face time on Family Affair.. and of course they both were named Kathy... Your neighbor might have heard it from someone else!

I agree, I enjoy watching the oldies.. and taking those trips down memory lane! I was always a johnny come lately to shows... I'm glad that there are some cable networks like tvland and Hallmark that show some of these old shows regularly.

Re:New Season of Celebrity Fit Club (season 5) 11 Months, 1 Week ago
I think there is only 1 more show... After a 2 week break there was a new one on Sunday night. Dustin Diamond came back as arrogant as usual..

He bombed during the activity..(it was dirt bike (non motor) racing on a track..) He was claiming he had a head cold.. and dropped out..

The next day (I think is how they work it..) they did the weigh in's.. Diamond was last. Everyone had done pretty well and overall the show was pretty encouraging. Diamond's turn came up and he had lost the 5 lb's he had gained earlier.. But he told them he was taking Fat Burners... The other team got really mad... I think they all did...but the other team was more vocal... I would bet that had something to do with Diamond's endurance and ability to withstand the activity the day before and not a head cold. Of course I can't say for sure... I think rather than making the episode focused on Diamond again.. they panel just let it slide... Hopefully they discount all of Diamonds stats so that it is a fair contest between the teams.. It really isn't fair.. I think they had someone on season 1 who admitted she was taking diet pills..

In any case, I think Diamond was looking for a fight... He wore a tshirt that said "I'm the star of the show"....

What a jerk!

If anyone wants to catch a rerun on VH1 this week... you'll see what I mean.. I'm almost glad they showed him being a big flop on the track... He's been so nasty to some of the other cast members..

Anybody see it Sunday night?

Dustin Diamond continued to be a jerk... He dropped 13 lbs. the last week.. But he admitted the week before he was using a weight loss aid.. He should have been drummed out.. But I bet they secretly enjoyed the drama..

His team one the percentages but they made a point to mention that they would have won it anyway..because their team had the top 3 people whose percentages were greater than the rest of the cast. Maureen got down to 116.. and Ross lost 41 lbs.. I think Tiffany was the other member of their team. Everyone did well... except for Dustin who seemed intent to prove that you can lose weight and still eat junk.. But he really made a fool of himself on the majority of challenges.. He was so out of shape physically.. and of course used every excuse under the sun.. But I'm sure part of his inability to physically compete was because he was using supplements or drugs to try to drop weight.. I wouldn't be surprised if he was also using diuretics which I know can mess up your system if you are exerting energy..

I hope I don't see him back on tv for a very long time! If I do, I'm afraid it will be in the form of some sort of shock reality show..

I wound up being impressed with the person who I thought was going to be the drama queen! Brat.. She really dressed up for the finale and she was surprisingly very feminine looking and a beautiful girl! Maybe she'll lose some of her hip hop wardrobe! Aside from the first week she had a good attitude about her... Dustin's antics made anyone else's flaws pale in comparison to his..

I enjoyed the season..inspite of Dustin though.. I guess they need a little bit of drama.. But hey too much is counterproductive.

I never got into the show. I can't believe it because I thought this would be the best season ever, but I was wrong. I kept hearing what a jerk that guy was and then when I did tune in, it never grabbed my attention. I thought Ross was going to be so funny and it would be more interesting because nobody was really very overweight, but it didnt turn out that way.

I found it to be less interesting with people trying to lose weight who only weigh 150 pounds.

Maybe I'll catch it on the reruns. We'll see.

Oh, I heard someone ask Ross in an interview about the possiblity of he and Rosie doing a new show together. He seemed positive but would not comment. Said he couldn't discuss that right now. Now that would be funny!

Yeah, I believe they are collaborating on something.

Rosie has some references to Ross on her website/blog.

During the finale each person had some sort of personal friend or relationship that said something in a camera piece to them.. or about them..

They show Ross going to visit his friend Rosie.. He credits her with him being on the show..(CFC) He asked her about whether or not he should do it and she told him absolutely! I think she's a big fan of the show..

Maybe she's thinking she'd like to be a cast member!

I did notice that all the people only had approximately 30 lbs. to lose..

I don't think it was the best season.. but I did enjoy it.. It's only about 7 or 8 shows.. I think I liked last seasons better.

I wish they did updates on some of the former cast members. I saw one of the first seasons cast members cohosting the View a couple weeks ago. I think her name was Kim Coles.. She looks like she might still be fighting that battle of the bulge.
