I think you're right. I don't recall Iyanla making that comment about abuse, but, boy is that true. I was in a relationship once with a man I really adored, but, we were on different sides of the fence politically. I kept my mouth shut around him, because he was very critical in other areas of the relationship. I felt that if I spoke my mind, he would dislike me or end the relationship. I walked on egg shells about other things too. I had friends tell me he was abusive but, wasn't sure. As it happened, I finally did speak my mind about something, not involving politics, and he ended the relationship a few weeks later. Now I can say thank God. That's no way to live.

I think both Rosie and Elisabeth come up with some viewpoints that I consider rather naive. I don't always agree with Rosie. I think she was way off on the Clay Aiken/Kelly Rippa incident. Clay's entire appearance on that program that day was rude and insulting to Kelly, even if you ignore the mouth covering part.

Anyway, restraint is something Rosie needs to work on. I think Elisabeth has either gone on medication since last season or just learned to hold down her temper, but, whatever it is is working.

Oh, did you hear that Star Jones is supposed to play a district attorney on Law & Order?

Oh yeah... I just saw that blurb about Star on TMZ's site.. I was going to mention it too! I wonder how she is really doing? She is certainly laying pretty low...

I just saw on TMZ that Rosie apparently went off again today. This time against American Idol.. She thinks there is a double standard regarding who stays when there are similar circumstances..

I thought the home audience (via voting as judges) held the cards for the fate of the finalists? Am I misunderstanding how they work the finalists?

I heard a rumor that her marriage is a farce and she is dealing with that right now. I hope that is not true. You know, all along there have been rumors about her husband being gay. I don't know if that is true or not, but, you know if it is, she is heartbroken. She wanted a husband so bad. I hope it's all lies.

The voting process begins after they widdle down the contestants to 24 (12 females and 12 males). There is question on whether or not Barba is the one in the pornographic pics or not. It is her in the wet T-shirts. With Frenchie, there was no question on if she was nude or not.

(IMO) I do know there is controversy on who they dismiss and who they don't. I believe there is a full disclosure application where they ask if you have ever been arrested or ever used drugs or ever posed/ stared in anything pornographic, if you lied on the application you are dismissed about as much as you would be on a job. Bo Bice admitted to cocaine use and that he no longer did it- he got to stay, they said it was because he was honest from the beginning... others have said they don't until the arrest record surfaces. It might be based on that. (easier to do damage control on something known than something hidden)
