I saw a report about a recent episode of this show, that Tyra Banks, hosts and producers, that made me sick to the stomach. I haven't had time today to do much research on it, but, I know enough to be appauled. They showed the photographs the models posed for that particular episode.
The models assignment was to pose as dead bodies. They were all dressed in skimpy lingerie as sexy as could be except for the bullet holes and stab wounds throughout their body. One girl was leaning dead against a wall with blood spatter above her head on the wall. Another layed on the floor and had a stab wound to the chest and 2 large lacerations to her sides supposedly depicting her as a victim of organ theft.
I have never seen anything like this in my life. I have never been so outraged in my life at anything on television. I can't imagine what justification Tyra could have to do such a thing.
It portrays women as victims of murder in a sexy, seductive way. I think it is horrible and I hope viewers of the show let Tyra know. She is supposed to be such a champion of women...what was she thinking?
Am I over reacting or justified. Did anyone see the show? Did the girls feel reluctant to model in that demoralizing manner?
