I agree that anyone who saw the segment knows Rosie didn't go off. She calmly expressed her opinion. Leno, Letterman, and others say very outrageous things about just about every show and celeb you can think of, but, that's okay I guess.

I don't know how I feel about the AI issue just yet. Maybe they made a mistake with the first lady in kicking her off. I guess I just wonder how far you have to go to rule out the people who are fit from those who are not. I mean what standard do you use? I think they have rules about felony convictions and that's okay, but, there are so many vices that could come up on a contestant, if you kick people out, it could cause you to have to have alternates in case too many people go home because there are skeleton in their closet. That's just too confusing. I say unless it's really bad, like serious crimes or a dangerous person, just let it go. I know there are standards and I do think beauty pagents should be run differently, but, I do think there is a difference. Maybe there is a different standard.

I did see some of those photos that they claim are Barba. If that is her with the Rose petals covering certain parts, that looks as if it were professionally done. The ones of her standing in front of the Vietnam Memorial were also quite spicy. Who poses like that in a public place just for fun? I don't buy that. Anyway, her singing is just not going to cut it on that show. Unless she gets votes just because of the photos, I think she will go home if you base it on her singing alone.

I also don't see a difference in whether you were paid for the nude photos or not. Why does that make one case okay and the other not? I don't get that point.

That is what I wonder. I know a lot of people that do little pics for thier husband/ wives and even boyfriend/ girlfriend. I also know that some ex's have been known to release these types of pics when things go wrong or when the person starts to become a public figure. Should they get kicked out for that?

Not everyone who does nude/ racy pics are all about publicity.. Sometimes it's a gift for loved ones, or even just for fun trusting that it won't be made public but how do they determine that?

It may just boil down to that when they see the negative information they need to see if it would ruin the image for the contestant/ the show or if it's able to be glossed over or they did better (like Bo's arrest/ rehab) They do run a contest BUT also the get their money from sponsers and such.... If the star's image is tarnished or starts off on a bad foot... then it may mean a loss of money... after all it's a business and it wouldn't stay on the air if they were losing money.

I see your point Tiger Rose. I hadn't thought of it in that way, but, still I think it makes the regulating of that show a nightmare trying to sort through whose vices are too bad to stay on the show.

AI gets such great ratings, I can't imagine any of their sponsors being upset. Personally, I think this photo thing is not hurting the show but giving it a needed boost. I mean, this season is not very good, IMO, with the exception of a few of the contestants. The show needed something to spice things up. I do expect the girl in question to go home....soon and not because of the photos.

Here's what I find the most interesting.........

If someone has a strong opinion about something opposite....many people tend to react angrily and accusatory!! Yet, if someone expresses a strong opinion FOR the viewpoint they support.......it's okay!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh............the psychology of human nature!!!!!

Is it just me or has anyone else wondered why many guests, (Susan Lucci today and Delta Burke yesterday) typically skip over Elizabeth and Joy and zero right in on greeting Rosie, (usually with a kiss/hug) and just completely ignore the rest?

I find this to be VERY RUDE! They could at least acknowledge the others AFTER they greet Rosie but they act as if they are invisible until they ask a question. It makes me wonder if Rosie is instrumental in the choice of guests they have on the show, (ie; her friends).

I notice that some of the guest appear to be a little disoriented when they come out and the crowd is cheering and they may greet Rosie first, but they still greet the others too. I have noticed that a few only greet Barbara and Rosie and not the rest.

I don't think it's done intentionally because some of these guest don't seem to have any connection to Rosie. I saw Susan Lucci yesterday and I thought she was cordial to eveyone there.

If the guest do gravitate to Rosie it may be that she is more of a real down to earth person and I think would make one more comfortable. That's just my take on it.

I'll have to go back and review, but, I thought Delta shook everyone's hand too. I did notice that Delta looked at Rosie more that the rest of the guest. That could just be nerves.
