Starting Over Talk

First, congrats to the winner! (I won't give it away 'cause you might have not watched it yet! )

The show last night was really awesome! I really enjoyed it. When I first saw how long it was going to be on, I thought oh yeah great "how many commercials are they gone to show"! I think they went all out this year compared to previous years.

OMG, what a show! I know, I know, I'm eating my words. After Melinda got voted out, I said I wouldn't watch anymore, but I just couldn't help myself. I'm glad I did. I loved the show. It really didn't matter to me who won. All the other talent was great.

I don't think I've ever heard Taylor sound better and that Carrie Underwood....she is a powerhouse. I think she is actually a better singer/performer than Kelly Clarkson. That is shocking.

I only caught the last one hour. I tuned in right before Melinda was singing with the Wymans. Just prior to them coming on stage Simon was standing up and applauding. Paula and Randy were sitting. What had just happened? I thought that was odd since it's usually the other way around.

My favorite was Bett Midler. I just felt the emotion coming from that woman. To perform so intimately in such a large hall and come across like that on tv is amazing. I adore her more now.

I also thought Sanjaya was great. The rock thing was so funny and entertaining. I would like to purchase that show on DVD. Too bad I didn't record it.

The point that Simon stood up... was because those 2 friends that he made fun of (one he called a Bush Baby). They were on the show and he said he forgave Simon for his comment because life had really improved afterwards.

Has anyone heard the rumor that Sanjaya is a fake and that his name is really Bill Vendall? He supposedly did the show as a school project. I don't know if this is true.

Oh hmmm...............I never heard anything like that!!

I also caught just the last hour and really enjoyed it!!! Once it got to the top 4, I really did like them all!!!! They all have record deals in their futures!!!

I ran across a video that supposedly shows him admitting it but I could never get the thing to play. I still don't know if it's true.

Did you see the whole gang on Larry King? It was really good.
They had all the ones that will be on the tour. I'm not sure I would go to see them in concert.

Taylor Hicks was supposed to appear in my city but cancelled last week. Conflict in schedule they said.
