I saw this in an article on MSNBC/ Today. The creators of the Swan has a new show lined up that doesn't focus so much on plastic surgery but life changes as well as a make-over. The New You

The producer of The Swan said the time contraints on the program never allowed anyone to see the emotional / mental transformation they had to go through and she wanted to show more of that and less of the physical changes they do so she developed a talk show type program. Each person goes to a lifecoach and other consultations to work on the mental and emotional health issues.

I'm going to reserved judgement until I see it. I might watch it a couple of time to see how they do this.

I can't tell when it is slated to air though.. I never watched the Swan (I don't think) but did watch Extreme Makeover... (before the home version got popular)....

It's certainly a possibility and could have some good info related to self esteem and possibly women's health issues..

There is an Oct date mentioned but I think that might have been for a dvd release of the Swan series.

Do you know when it will be on? and what station/network might be carrying it?

I don't really know. I not sure if it's going to be on TV or just webTV.
I will try to find out.

I happened to tune into the Today Show today and coincidentally saw that they were doing a segment called something similar.. I didn't hear the top of the segment but at the end, they didn't plug any show. I thought it might have been coincidental..or was just going to be a regular feature on the Today Show..

Tonight I checked the show's website and found info about the segment and also the upcoming project..

Still haven't figured out when it will air...But now most likely know it will be affiliated with NBC.

I wonder if this is that ivillage project that was spoken about some months ago.. I hadn't heard anything more about it. Seems that they were talking about the ivillage project being some sort of interactive show done out of Orlando or something...

Has anyone heard anymore about the ivillage project that was spoken about near the end of SO.. when everything was up in the air?
