I always liked Kim...thought she had a good heart. She was always driven by fear, hence the facade. She was wonderfully supportive to her housemates, in my opinion, and they seemed to hold great affection for her. Her two daughters were a real credit to her, too, and the love between them was wonderful to see.
The "fake it until you make it" was said in jest...pretend that you're OK ...until you really get there!!
I think it must be hard to settle back into everyday life, after the
experience in the SOH...quite a few former HGs have dabbled in one venture or another...trying out their new "tool boxes." I love that they try new things...if they don't pan out, so what? It's the trying that's important, IMO.

I don't wish her ill will or anything... But she irked me while in the SO2 house... She just came across as so materialistic... Then when the infamous 'Fake it till you make it' comment came out of her mouth... I never thought of her as even remotely serious about her stay at the SO house.

I thought her abrupt attempt at departing so she could take a preplanned cruise with her husband was ridiculous! It came out of left field totally!

Ohhhh! Re the cruise? I was talking to the TV that day! "Kim! No!...not after you've come this far!!!!" Panic set in I think...the fear of rejection was THAT strong! I was so glad that she stayed the course! The materialism was her "armor", I think. She, like so many others, entered the house having no idea how hard the journey would be...or how worthwhile!

I wish Kim no Ill, I just wish that she would go away and leave her life........

Oh I kind of think she caught the show off guard and not wanting obviously her to walk out... I think they wrapped up her 'story' and let her catch up to her hubby. I don't think she missed much... if any of the cruise. I think they might not otherwise have graduated the 2 women together.. (Both Kim and Jennifer.). Kim was ready to leave as soon as she came back from that visit with her sister..

Her major goal may have been to heal her relationship with her sister, so she probably didn't want anything else tweaked...

I remember both she and Jennifer got luggage... as part of their graduation gifts. If I recall correctly, it was ugly! I think it was a bright color! I should say, at least I thought it was pretty ugly...

I can't even remember what color it was... Just that it was bright! Was it lavendar or pink????

LOL! Can't remember either...but it would not surprise me if they gave Kim PINK luggage!!!
