B/M knew in May (and probably alot earlier) that they were going in a different direction.. Funny how this article connect the Janice Dickenson series...and Oxygen's overall bad girl focus which was already in the making...
I am sure the news was timed to coincide with the end of SO3.

On another note though... All these press releases are similar and out around the same time.
No telling what the status of the project is... I can't find anything more recent..and B/M does not have casting calls or info on their site anymore (they did at one time)...
From these articles you can tell what was motivating B/M. IMHO anyway!.
In any case, December is right around the corner... They might start advertising for the series once it gets a bit closer.
