Starting Over Talk - Peer Coaching Support Site

Found an interesting article about the 2 new talk shows... Rachael Ray and Megan Mullally... Seems like there is some talk of the 2 competing against each other...

I still haven't see MM and haven't even tried to figure out when it is on... RR didn't grab my attention so who know if either is succeeding?

Anybody want to add their 2 cents?

Well, I don't get the Rachel Ray show, and don't have any interest in Megan Mullaly, so.......................guess I don't actually have any input here.............I KNOW.............shocking, eh??????

I have seen reports on tv and on-line that Rachael Ray is getting the highest viewer ratings since Dr. Phil debuted. Good grief. I find it difficult to believe. I wish the girl all the best, but, really? She is annoying on that show. I like her 30 min meals and $40 a day on vacation, but this talk show is not to my taste.

Did you see the part when Oprah was her guest and she has Oprah speading cheese on a pizza? Oprah is doing this as she talks about the most important project in her life....building this magnificent girls school in Africa. She is sharing this when Rachael interrupts her and tells her she is missing a spot on the pizza.
I thought I would crack up. I think she actually annoyed Oprah that day.

In comparison, McMally got terrible ratings the first week. I think they were about as bad as SO's rating were reported to be. But that is no big surprise to me. I don't see her as a talk show host. I only saw one little piece from her show. She was singing with some other people and it was pitiful. She has a great voice but the song was horrible and not even funny.

Time will tell.

Rachael is funny and cute, her show is great, never watched MM might check it out.
