Yes it was a rerun... I know alot of people had lost it already... but here in the D.C. area they re-ran the couples episodes after they showed the women's graduation episodes. Yesterday and today were the couples reunion filmed at the vinyard.

Funny thing though, I watched more out of mourning.. and just to watch what I would presume the last time the show aired.

5 minutes before the show ended they showed a dramatic commercial plugging the show and quoting New York newspapers and another large cities newspaper as though the show was the best thing since sliced bread! I am sure these were the original commercials that aired when that episode first ran. What a difference a few months makes! (since that was aired in Feb.)

I just thought it rather comical that they'd still be plugging the show via that commercial within moments of the shows final demise! It was complete with testimonials from various fans!

PS: I should add that maybe the finality of it and the truth behind the commercial might strike a chord with a producer somewhere yet!

Post edited by: KPW1956, at: 2006/09/16 00:29

They've been running that same commercial since the reruns began. Which I found rather strange. Since the producers probably already knew there'd be no fourth season. June 30th was the final deadline to renew Rhonda's contract. And, IMO, it would've been renewed months earlier, if B/M had any intention of producing another season of SO.
