I hear ya LR2. I too am still

about Three Wishes. I received notice from a group I belong to that NBC was ditching it - for no apparent reason. It was another show that was helping to change people's lives, like SO - only in PrimeTime. Three Wishes could have been NBC's answer to ABC's Extreme Home Makeover, only w/a twist. It was a good family show. Apparently NBC doesn't know what to do w/those these days

I was all ready to sit down & write a letter to nominate my friend, who deserves ALL the wishes she can hold, when I got this news. They were STILL asking for nominations on the air AND on their website all through this time when people were begging, to no avail, to keep it on. They're so desperate now they're worried about losing money - unless, of course you're Howie Mandel & a gaggle of gorgeous women w/brief cases "trying" to give millions of it away
I wrote to NBC, I sent an email to the local station mgr - and she basically told me that she had no say in the matter, it was up to the network - and nobody wanted to watch it. I say "Baloney" - I think they just didn't want to fork out the money to pay for the 3 Wishes every week.
If this is the network we're fighting to keep SO on the air - we're SCREWED
