First of all...................YAAAAY for Bianca!!!! She truly is an amazing talent.

Next, let me clear up my comment. I really do understand the why behind Celtic Spring's young boy's comments!! And I'd have said soooooooooo much worse to Piers myself! I'm truly glad that the man in the quick change act really spoke his mind. All I'm saying is this.........it really comes across as general disrespect which kids really need to learn how to curb toward adults. Yes, many adults are atrocious and say truly nasty things........but I strive very much to teach my kiddos to rise above. I'm not taking that young man to task......after all, we all have breaking points and Piers is so obviously there to push buttons!! But, for me, it's really about helping this young man be able to handle this nasty world of show biz while keeping his own integrity and self-control. Please don't think I'm defending Piers at all................IMO he is taking the "Simon Cowell" acting job to a higer level for his own noteriety and gain!! And I DO love the Celtic Spring group.....they are very talented and enjoyable!!!

Finally.............I so agree with you guys about the way they _script_ed the finale show. Very chaotic, disorganized and just plain wacky!! The only thing my hubby and I could come up as far as the order of winner is that the ones who won cars (All That and The Millers) were 2nd and 3rd.

Yep.........I do think many of them will find venues that will support them. I enjoyed several of them!

Well Grizz. that makes sense if All that and the Miller's won cars that they were 2nd and 3rd place... I don't think Celtic Spring won anything or the other young girl.. (Samantha???) So maybe they were 4th and 5th...

It's assumed that the other half ... were 6th through 10th... but they could have just as easily divided the numbers of people since it looked like they were evenly divided.

One thing... they also never showed any final tallies... Debby (or someone) mentioned never being able to get through... Maybe there was a glitch! At the least, I think they should have shown the home audience what the tallies were of votes.

I think I agree with Debby, that I probably won't bother watching next time!

I thought the young man in Celtic Spring was curtailed quickly by his dad.. (assuming it was his dad) Which was wise.. I understand the young man's frustration as he probably thought Piers was dissing his family.. I'm sure the news was going on backstage of some of Piers comments to those who had come on before them. Dad I think reined him in and soothed the situation over as best he could.. by calling Piers one of his 3 favorite judges still.

Just saw this... on Bianca winning.

The article mentions that it's coming back... in January.

I hope they do some tweaking of it!

I get what you're saying about the kids being mouthy, Grizz. But what those kids reacted to was him crossing the line even very conservative parents teach their kids. To their credit, the kids didn't go off on Piers over scathing personal criticism or matters of taste. They only flipped when it involved their brothers. As a parent of one of those kids, you'd have to be mentally high-fiving yourself for teaching values, even if it didn't exactly play well on national tv.

And, they made the point pretty well that these little superstars didn't come out of vacuum. Their talents we carefully supported and honed by those very family members. Anyway, if I were Piers (perish the thought), I wouldn't want to find myself in a dark alley with the Miller bros or those Irish kids any time soon. They've all got monster shoes, and they know how to use 'em!

Soooooooooo very true Ser!!! Actually I'm envisioning shoe prints all over his very head at the moment!!!!!
