Thanks for that link.

I went to a part of that site where you could see what channels it was on in my area.

It confirmed that it wasn't available by my provider but gave me the option of requesting it from my provider. (standard form letter) and I had to fill in the blank.

What I found out in the form letter and I think I got a hint of it from an ad on the bottom of the site's page that this cable channel was at least originally aimed for black audiences.

I think maybe the powers that be there realize the full potential of this show to better lives.

Bravo to them! and hopefully they don't mind if they wind up attracting a broader audience!

I agree with you KPW. I think the fact that Iyanla is such an outstanding African American role model, that her role on SO may have caused TVOne to bring it on board.

Let's hope SO does well there.

It looks like TVOne will not be airing Starting Over past September 9? I heard on another message board and looked at their listings for September and it was not there! Could it be true?

It could very well be true...which means that it will end at the same point it did the last time, right in the middle of the season!! I only discovered SOH in reruns, so I seem destined never to see the second halves of #s 1 and 2!! Grrrr!!
Having sad that, I WAS grateful to see the shows I had missed!!

I just looked forward in my DVR and Starting Over is back on the 18th. I don't know why they're taking a week break, but I think we should all write to TV One and tell them to keep it on the air. When they start messing around it's like they're experimenting on what works and what works is Starting Over for us.

That is really strange that they are taking it off for a week.
