I have enjoyed this program since it started.
I hope they do not take it off the air.
This is the first time a reality show, has helped many people.
It has helped me! I had locked myself up in my home for yrs, because of my Cancer.
Because of Allison, and many others that have come and gone, I have now started dating again, and have not had one panic attack when leaving my home.
It seems the best shows for women, are the ones they cancle.
I sure hope this stays on!!!

Rhonda herself told a member of another MB, during her final Body Image teleconference, that there wouldn't be a fourth season. And, she's bought a condo in Vail, Colorado. I think the move from Chicago to LA is one of the things that doomed Starting Over. Many of the HG's seemed to go too Hollywood.

I actually think Season 3 was the best season, even with Lisa I. I remember some of season 1 and all of season 2. I'm actully watching season 2 right now in my area. In doing so, I am finding that Season 3 was the best, IMO, despite all the mess that happened and some unexplained abscences by Iyanla, and despite any conflicts between the LCs and BM. That season really shines bright to me.

Could they have possibly been dropped because they touched on the abortion issue?
I remember remarking to my husband at the time,that's the end of S.O.
A couple of the women said, that a earlier abortion may be the catalist for some of their issues.

it was cancelled due to low ratings which means not enough viewers. I know when you are on a board such as this that was started around this show, it feels like everyone watched it and it was a hit. But the reality of it is that it tanked in numbers and so stations no longer wanted to purchase the show, because they couldn't charge a good price for the commericial time. It all comes down to money.

It wasn't cancelled due to low ratings or lack of money. They made plenty of money off the show because it cost so little to produce. I'm sure it was canceled because Oxygen offered BM a better deal with the show Bad Girls Club. I'm sure that show will get even less of an audience but Oxygen will be able to market it better and get better deals with sponsors.
