I am really getting fed up with Ms. Allison. Mabe I am getting cynical- But I am no longer buying that she is"unsure" of herself- feels ugly- or cleans up after everybody in real life. Am I way off base- or is she starting to come off as mabe acting as if she's a little superior to the other women? It feels like she gets her jollies ACTING as if she's the helpless victim who is always being taken advantage of. I feel she uses this to manipulate people into taking care of her. Why are the coaches "babying" her so much? Does anyone else feel the same way?

Maybe the LC's babyied Allison because production insisted on it. After all, because Mary Ellis Bunim died of breast cancer, they invited Allison to be on SO. And, they knew about her because she was an entertainer. On cruise ships as well as in other venues. Iyanla even said, in an iterview, that working with Allison was very difficult, coming so soon after she'd lost her own child to cancer. I'll bet, had Allison not had file Chapter Seven before the bankruptcy laws changed last October, her second graduation would've aired well past January 9th.

Hi Deborah,
Many of us feel the same way. You are not cynical, your bs meter is fully operational. Allison does think she's superior to the other women. She is the first one to spout off her opinion when she thinks they "aren't surrendering to the process". (Goll, I'm sick of that expression). But when anyone else tries to hold her accountable for her issues, she gets her back up and puffs up and gets defensive. She stops listening and attacks.
She could learn so much from TJ and Allison about listening to criticism and owning their stuff.
I am very tired of the "allison show". But I keep watching because I love TJ and Jill.

I suggest taping the shows so you can fast forward through the Allison chuncks. There is so much to learn from the other houseguests.

Happy viewing,
Dallas

Allison

Allison loves to play the martyr role and she has it down perfectly. I've always avoided saying negative about any of the houseguests even the ones I didn't like, but she takes the cake. When Iyanla had her go in there and "yell" about the kitchen I almost had to turn my tv off.

It's just my opinion but Allison is/was only there for one thing....to gain more sympathy for herself and promote her career.

As I recall, there hasn't been one hg that walked into the SOH without flaws and challenges; Allison is no different.
IMO, the LCs and Dr. Stan gave Allison what they thought she needed in their professional opinions and yes, Iyanla did have to boot her out of there at the end. Which is worse: A hg who threatens to walk out every time their feathers get ruffled or a hg who doesn't want to leave?

It just seems that Allison touches a cord in many of the fans who post here. This is the place to voice your mind, but, I do find the degree of dislike for Allison a little surprising.

I am one of the few who adore Allison. I learned so much watching her. She has inspired me to deal with medical issues with courage. (No, I don't have cancer or anything that extreme)

If we are blame Allison for filing bankruptcy, how many years of punishment do you recommend she receive for this horrific act? Can she ever redeem herself or is shall she be vilified forever for this transgression?
