I think T.J. thought it was a compliment or something great. I don't think Buffy thought it was that cool. Of course, she did agree to come to the house and have lunch with T.J., so maybe she wasn't that insulted.
I was thinking the same thing! As long as she doesn't keep up the
"Valley Girl" thing, which could start to "grate"...it seems as though
she might indeed have made a friend. She reminded me of my daughter, as an early teen, being so thrilled when she made her first friend at a new school! I did not take to TJ at first, but am touched by her now...think I first saw her when she was in the "talk talk talk" phase!

I don't think T.J. should have been so quick to offer her email addy out to a girl she just met in a gym. Maybe a phone number or something, would have been more appropiate. She was so excited though, it seems like a girl like her would have loads of friends. I think she would be a riot to hang with!! Hmmm, just wondering if Buffy got paid for coming to lunch at the SOH??

I think they probably have the SO #... or a cell #..
But I also thought that TJ was getting Buffy's number.. and that is what Buffy was writing down for her.
I recall TJ calling her..( I missed the show today)..at some point.. and of course Buffy coming to the house.
I'm sure Buffy might have been intrigued by the camera's and being part of a reality show. It seems she wound up becoming good friends with Jessica. I doubt that they would have had to pay her to come.. But who knows.. being on SO might have been perk enough!

I can understand why some people might have been turned off by T.J. at first, but, I have known several people with similar personalites as hers throughout my life. In retrospect, I suspect that they were ADD as well.
We used to call people like her high strung. Anyway, they were high strung, but, they were the most devoted friends. They loved me to pieces and let it show. They would also take up for me in a heartbeat....even if I was wrong. Sometimes I couldn't get a word in edgewise, but, they usually lifted my spirits because they always seemed so excited to be my friend. That's just my experience.

Know what you mean, but then there are days like today when you just want to tell her to "put a sock in it already!" On the other hand,
it's more real when they have little spats in the house, not for the drama, but in learning how to interact with people with very different personalities. TJ is so likable, yet soooo irritating at times!
I don't think I saw enough of her in the beginning to form a real impression... this time I find her very endearing and
childlike, but can also see why she has a hard time connecting.
Just needs to slow it down a little! She wants to make it OK so bad, instead of taking a time out and letting things cool down a bit, gaining a bit of perspective, etc.
Now, I cant understand why it took me so long to get "hooked" by the Season3 ladies!
