Starting Over Talk - Peer Coaching Support Site

I read on one of these message boards that Christie & Rhonda knew each other before Christie came into the starting over house. So I'm sure she's there for Rhonda, whatever that may be...in house lc...etc.

Also, this is a house full of women, so, you have to expect disagreements, it's enevitable.

hooters, did it say how Christie and Rhonda knew each other before SO, where they met, etc.?

Cristie has admitted that she is scared she still could fall back into her old habits, and as far as Jodi being her mentor, it could be she is staying just to help with the 5K race, I hope that's the only reason.

Valtina, I believe it mentioned that she was in one of her books. I guess that means she was seeing her for some type of therapy. I do like Christie, but, knowing that she knew her before hand, I don't know, seems maybe a little shady to me??? JMO!!

I think I heard that Christy was mentioned in Rhonda's last book that was just published in March (I believe)... Taping of the show wrapped up in Jan.

I don't know in what context Rhonda refers to Christy, but I imagine it would be in the context of look how she was trying to make over her body through the wrong methods and look how she accomplished her goals by stretching her endurance level through regular exercise.

I think because Christy's story was similar to Rhondas regarding alcohol and drug addictions...Rhonda has probably become her AA sponsor (many here have speculated that)...

But we know she came into the house pretty early in her sobriety.
I don't think they had any long term relationship at that point. Maybe Rhonda met her at a AA meeting and thought she'd be a good potential hg for SO.

I think Rhonda was working on the book in the course of SO3...and why Christy could have been included as a case in point.. I think the book is about weight issues.
