I saw a few weeks back talk (I can't even remember where...) (it could have even been here! )

Sommer returns for the last 5 weeks...(that's all I know...)

Apparently many of the past hg's will all be invited back to the house... to participate in a 5k race of some kind. A spoiler preview in the next week or 2 indicates Christie working on something for some kind of a race.. I think it might be for this....

Anyway... It sounded like alot of the hg's are invited back for that...and perhaps it will give updates on various hg's. Hopefully those who can't race can still come for the reunion. (i.e. those who don't/can't run...)

It sounded like it is part of an actual finale for the SO show and not a separate function.

I have no clue who will be there...I imagine all those locals in the L.A. area would be theree.... There was talk that Christina was NOT invited... and I am sure there may have been others NOT invited...and then again there may also be some who couldn't attend and might have wanted to. I guess I would be really surprised if Towanda came.. I have no clue if the rumors are true or not about who was and who was not invited...just relaying what I saw.

I have been hoping Candy, Rachel and Bethany from SO 2 would/will be there...

It would be hard to fit so many updates into 1 show... if they include all 3 seasons... It might be nice to make a 2 part finale show and really highlight alot of the women. It might even be nice if they invited Rana back... I really don't know much about so1 as I was a johnny come lately to the show... But I see so many speak favorably of her.. Knowing Iyanla is definitely not coming back...I am sure her gals would definitely want an opportunity to thank her again...

I'm actually looking forward to the finale..

Since it was stated that Sommer is in for the last 5 weeks...(and that could include downtime over the holidays..) I speculate it is top part of December. That would be hard to get someone new in there anyway to start a fresh 'story'... or 'case'..

I wonder if Cassie winds up staying the remainder of the time..or leaves again and comes back since she is already in the LA area.. (Or I thought she was...)

Based on previews, no other new hgs are on the horizon.. after Sommer. Not yet anyway!

This is a little off topic, but your posting brought up a question I've been having. I read on Rhonda's blog that the 5K race took place on January 9th, which was a Monday. On today's episode, Rhonda told Christie they were exactly 2 weeks from the Race date, so that would mean it was December 26th when they were talking. Also, Rhonda's blog mentioned that on January 19th they were wrapped shooting the season, so they have 10 days after the race for the finale.

I guess my question is, if the houseguests are in the house during the holidays, do they get to celebrate the holidays? Do they get to go home for a couple days, or do they stay in the house, pretending that it isn't Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Years? Dr. Stan mentioned recently about how lonely people get around the holidays in one of his sessions. I would imagine it would be hard living in that house going through all they are going through and not get to spend the holidays with their loved ones.

Also, you mentioned that Christina was not invited to the race - why wouldn't she be invited? Did I miss something about her? And was Towanda arrested? I seem to remember hearing something like that...

I really hope this isn't the end of starting over...It's a bit part of my day, and I was just getting up the courage to submit an application.

You know I was thinking about that today too when Rhonda was talking to Christie...

I sure would think that the staff AND the hg's would break for the holidays. Maybe it is really slightly before the holidays and they are getting ready to break. So SO housetime would be about 2 more weeks.

Just guessing of course... But I do recall one of Rhonda's blogs talking about spending a nice holiday with her sisters ....and she got very sick with the flu...

So that piece of info could be a clue. My hunch is that it is a tad bit before the holidays. Maybe they shut down production for a week or so.

Maybe that is why suddenly we see Jodi having regressed???

Antonia has been working on her poetry thing all week... and Iyanla only gave her a deadline of 2 days... I am sure alot of these storylines aren't being televised sequentially at they occurr. Although they seem to make it seem like the days are flowing in logical way.

I just checked my PC's calendar from Dec. 05... Antonia's poetry thing was slated for a friday I think... So it could have been the 16th or the 23rd..of Dec. If it was that close to the holidays.. I can very well imagine Antonia having a hard time trying to get participants. Busy time of the year! But then again maybe her poetry slam is really in January?

I guess if someone kept notes of what each of the hg's are wearing... and the LC's are wearing we might be able to make a better connection. It doesn't really matter though.

I was wondering why in the world would they have both Christy and Antonia both trying to organize events at the same time. That could lend itself to alot of stress right there in the household! Or should I say, Moreso than normal?
