Well....in response to your comments Angie, first of all you have way too much time on your hands and analyze everything to death....

I analyze everything to death, huh?

That's quite the statement to make about me, a poster who has a low post count and is on here quite sporatically.

But since you said it, and probably didnt analyze what you said to determine if you said such a thing out of emotion or out of actual fact, then you must be right.

But in my opinion, I think I'd rather be overly analytical and make sense, than emotional and reactionary and make little sense.

QUOTE:
second of all...of course we should expect feedback, but if we are all adults, why can't we do it in a respectful, non confrontational way?

There was no disrespect.

QUOTE:
I wasn't really asking for an assessment of my opinion, but others opinions on the issue.

The "issue" is only an "issue" because you made a post declaring something to be an issue - therefore it is your opinion - and creating a thread declaring your issue with the show is demanding an assessment and feedback of what you had to say.

If you cant handle assessment and feedback, then maybe creating threads and voicing your opinion is something you should steer clear of until you can handle the responses.
People in life dont all sugarcoat their responses to what we say, its how you react to it is whats important. Cuz you cannot change people or their approach to you. You only have control over you. And if you dont have control over your negative reaction to people, then you definitely have no right to try to get others to change their approach.

QUOTE:
You can express your opinion on the subject without criticizing someone's personal opinion.

Thats subjective, because some people may see simple disagreement or helpful feedback as criticism. Again, its how you recieve it and how you react to it thats important.

QUOTE:
It was quite rude of you to state that I didn't make sense....I made perfect sense, and was talking in generalities as well...

My assessment is you weren't real clear on the point you were trying to make, given your post was about Rhonda and not Iyanla. Others seem to feel that way as well. Its not like its the end of the world, woman! I say shit that doesn't make sense, and if someone tells me so I'll reflect back and see where I lost my readers. But getting defensive doesn't make a wrong right, and it certainly doesn't keep a small issue from snowballing into a big issue. Keep perspective.

QUOTE:
.perhaps you are too busy looking for things to pick on rather than reading the messages.

If it makes you feel better over this little insignificant thing by making up stories about me, go at it.

QUOTE:
And the mod was trying to get this point across. Express your opinions all you want, but don't pick on other's opinions.....

I didnt get that, sounded like a lock down to me. Maybe it was needed however, for special cases like people who can't handle feedback and get overly defensive.

Sorry mod, I understand now.

QUOTE:
it becomes annoying to read constant bickering and negative comments. I personally look at the forums as a place where we all enjoy the show ( and the concept) and we can all gab about what is going on. Instead I post one message and now I am wasting my time defending myself!!!

It is a waste of time. Admit you're human and you'll enjoy life a lot more, and people would probably enjoy you a lot more as well.

Me too...I just hope that my post didn't come off as offensive, because that was not my intention.
