TOPIC: Is it just me?

No, it is not. They are getting mean. And, there's a reason for that. The SO philosophy is based on new-aged cults, and other new-aged experiments from the '70's and '80's. And, sooner or later, they get very confrontational, hypocritical, and mean. I think that the SO counslers snuck this show under the radar, subtlely building up to this level of "help". They knew thier totol philosophy would scare the average viewer in the first two seasons. I just hope the more vulnerable housemates aren't completely made bonkers when they leave. Hope that helps you.

I think you hit the nail on the head. I have noticed the New Age theme throughout the second and third seasion (missed the first season) - especially during Iyanla's sessions. Then she tosses in a quote from the Bible, and I start questioning myself again.

One time really clinched it for me: Ok, everyone go stand out on your deck. Yell what you want to the Universe so it will be given to you. Everything you ever could need is already waiting for you out there.

How stupid can they get? Next they'll probably do past life regression on everyone. (Why is it that everyone who does that was a famous person?)

No it's not just you...Iyanla is great she knows how to relate to the woman she is assigned to coach. Rhonda on the other hand is just not a good life coach, everyone (unless they are her special chosen one's..etc Layne from season 2 and Jessica season 3) seem to fail or get kicked out. I just have a problem with this woman, Rhonda just goes to far with some of her assignments and can be very sarcastic and condiscending with her remarks when it comes to certain housemates.

You know what i was actually happy when Rhonda did that to Allison, when she was like Allison it's time, and then Jessica was the one who hears she is graduating! In the picture. I was glad it kind of was thrown in Ally's face. Am i wrong for thinking this?

That was my thought exactly. I think it was Rhonda's way of giving Allison a wakeup, that here Jessica is graduating and she has been half the time that you have.

I never looked at it that way. Interesting perspective. I was confused about why Rhonda would say, "Allison, are you ready to hear the truth" (paraphrase, maybe), only to then unveil Jessica's graduation announcement. So, you think she was rubbing it in Allison's face? Wonder if there are any more who saw it this way.
