I think she reminds me alot of Tess from SO2! Even they have different personality issues... and one may be a tad bit more bareable than the other. Both seemed to say they got it....but show no clue that anything took hold!

Not sure what Lisa is about to reveal (some sort of shocking secret)...but maybe it's her way of making everything about her again..

I hate making the comparison to Tess. That is rather insulting isn't it? But I can't help it! She does!

I have been reading a couple other forums and I saw a rumor that one of the current houseguests was very active on the old SO board last year. It was speculated that it was Lisa.... and one who tended to make outrageous threads... (like she needed a life, which is pretty clear to me!) But then again, I probably do too! These SO boards are addictive!

If it is Lisa, it would explain her knowledge of the language of healing as it corresponds with the SOH. I also think that it would explain her ease of manipulation within the house. I really hope she is there to work on herself and not just have another thing in her life handed to her. It's almost as if she is using this as a vacation with other people there with her for her to use as amusement. I really don't like this Lisa. I hope that she makes another choice after her secret comes out. As it is, it could absolutely be a defense mechanism, but it is a very ugly one.

For those who have not seen the show today (10/20/05) you may not want to read this yet....however, here are my thoughts on Miss Lisa.

When revealing her big, dark, secret the only emotion I saw was "fake". How can somebody cry w/o tears? She does this consistently. The secret itself is nothing new (every houseguest seems to have the same issue). My take on her "big" reveal:

1. It appeared to me that Rhonda was "leading" Lisa right into what she wanted to be said. If you carefully watch the eye movements and body language, it appears that Rhonda was indicating what she wanted to hear.
2. Lisa states this happened to her when she was 11 years-old. A brother of a friend. It went on for a year. While I agree 11 is still young, I believe she could have chose not to see this friend in order to not see the brother? Why would she believe the story "I will kill your parents" at age 11? She seems to be an intelligent woman, and I would assume was an intelligent child. While I am not advocating or condoning abuse in any way, shape, or form, I just find this "story" a little hard to believe.
3. All of Rhonda's houseguests seem to have the same issue - their parents. Excluding Jessica, even in the past seasons, most of her houseguests have had some type of abuse from parents, siblings, relations, in their life. From reading her literature, it appears she also suffered abuse at the hands of her parents, etc. Is this her speciality?
4. I agree that you must get to the "nitty gritty" in order to get through it; however, I wish they could/would come up with another story line in addition to abuse as a child. Using it so often has ME questioning the integrity.
5. Playing my own devil's advocate, is this the "real" Lisa who can not show emotion and is manipulative? Is this the reason I am having such a hard time believing her story?

Just my thoughts.....
