Starting Over Talk - Peer Coaching Support Site

This is my first time here. I was an avid poster and fan on the Starting Over website and I miss it terribly. This looks like the next best thing. Sure hope this one doesn't go under!

I must say, Allison looks fantastic! I'm so glad to see her looking so healthy and she looks much thinner (even though I thought she was beautiful last season before she lost the weight). I'm also bummed because I starting working full time and I don't get to see the new episodes, except for the last 15 minutes after I get home from work. I still do not even know where the new SO house is! Hope these boards get to stay up!

Work gets in the way of my seeing the show when it is televised, too. So I tape it! The first thing I do when I get home is turn on the TV and hit rewind!

Yep, I like Allison. Sweet woman. I wish her all the best that life has to offer. But first, that she knows just how beautiful she is inside and outside.

I agree she is awesome and beautiful and my favorite HG. I tape it too and enjoy FFing over the commercials.

I hope that Iyanla veers away from her current "bully" style coaching and helps Allison discover her worth and value. I believe this can be done without shaming or telling a person how they should feel, when they should cry, when they should be angry. etc.

Allison is great and I wish her the best.

Very good points! I hope Iyanla reads these posts because I think she herself needs this feedback. She's gotten into this mode of having to be "right" and she doesn't consider that maybe she too could be wrong.

I think she is easier on Alison than the others but I do notice a tinge of irritation creeping into her voice when Alison doesn't "get it" fast enough for her liking.
