No matter how many years have passed since the loss of a parent, you still have moments where you feel the need to just pick up the phone and call them.... and then you remember you can't...... you don't have to be reminded by a remark made by a another. I really felt for Jessica when I watched that segment of the show and I am sure many of us here can relate.

I know exactly how she feels Rosey. So many times without even thinking, I have picked up the phone to call my mom about something or other, usually about a recipe. It has been 6 yrs. for me since my mom passed, and I still miss her like it was yesterday. I am hoping through Jessica's exercises I can pick up some info on what to do about this. Jessica's heart is still so raw and tender, I hope TJ doesn't hurt her anymore.

Hugs honeyb.. a recipe.. yea I've done that too.. we have our private moments... I think it is part of healing, but that doesn't make the hurt less.

or dad....Dad and I watched the Braves play baseball. I live in Georgia and he in New York. We used to call each other when the play offs were and discuss the games. One year after he passed away in 1996 and an advertisement came on about baseball I thought of picking up the phone and just calling. I was reminded by my then bf. I just walked off feeling lonley and cried.

Now and then I think of how it would be. But I still have our memories and they are mine.

Best to all.

My heart goes out to all of you as well as Jessica. No matter how much time passes there will still be times when you feel sad and alone, and have that desire to pick up the phone and call them. Hang on to those memories and remember - they are YOURS and no one can take that away from you.

S.O. has been very difficult to watch, seeing the pain Jessica is in each and every time she speaks of her mom. I cannot imagine watching those images on tv, knowing your mom was on one of those planes. I think Rhonda is doing an amazing job in helping Jessica deal with the grieving process. She has lost both parents, very tragically and I admire her strength, courage, and determination to help others. She is most defiantely my role model and inspiration.

What happened to Rhonda's parents? I haven't heard that story yet.
Thanks
