that's kind of shallow or at least judgemental in the opposite direction, don't you think? imo anyway. maybe you meant it as hyperbole, but the implication that "pretty" girls can't have brains/decent personality/anything else going for them...not a fair or realistic assessment.

i definitely agree though that they are too young and not ready for marriage!

I think that Jacylyn's age really has alot to do with her behavior and crying. I remember when I was first dating my husband and at the beginning of our marriage I cried alot more than I do now. You just don't see things as rationally in your early twenties as you do later in life.

My perception of that song is not that they don't have brains, but that they will be looked at, flirted with, and the temptation to cheat or stray is there. Don't know the intention of the poster.

sorry, i can't say i'm familiar w/the song, i was just thinking more along the lines of how the poster said she wasn't a super-pretty girl so was able to develop other attributes...you're right though, i could be taking it completely out of context.

fair enough, a misunderstanding on my part!
