Josie's mom.... 4 Years, 1 Month ago Karma: 25
Yes I,like I am sure many of you, wanted her mom to have a make over
But I knew she wasn't gonna be easy or to agreeable to to much change.
Any one hanging on to hair that long is living in the past and doesn't change easily....especially when it wasn't their idea!! Kid gloves
Since many of you know that I do that for a living...makeovers.....I will tell you...it is frustrating looking at someone and really wanting to change their appearance.....but...it is their hair...
Hair is a very personal thing.....you have to be ready and excited about a change, especially that drastic...and I think surprising her with it....she wasn't havin it!!
Would have loved to shape the eye brows too!!
Not ot make people look different...but their best!....and maybe a bit different!!!
Hey I can't help it!!! That's what I do !! And I love it!!!

Josie's mom handled the makeover better than Josie did. Josie complained about everything during hers. They are very much a like. But on he r behalf a suprise makeover would be hard jon anyone like 2 said. You have to be ready for that kind of change.

I am glad Nancy did go through with the makeover.
Maybe once she gets use to the shorter hair and the makeup
she will begin to look a little differently at her life.
I only pray she does not repeat the past with Josie when
things get a little rough between the two of them.
When Josie moves in with her with a baby, she may be overwhelmed
and revert back to her wondering days

I totally agree that Josie's Mom does need a makeover. Doesn't look like it will happen any time soon, though. Too bad.

And you know, I don't let just anyone touch my hair! It is a personal thing but I do have it cut and styled. To not have it cut in over 20 years just isn't healthy looking.

I have long, dark, straight hair!
With some blonde streaks in it! I have not trusted anyone with my hair thus would NEVER go to anyone for a cut. My hair does not curl so no perm works and no need in curling! I put two curls in the bangs...they go straight but have a body that keeps them out of my eyes!!!

So in saying to original poster, Miss 2 Hair-do, you just may be welcome to "do" it up for me anytime!

dbmc: Josie's Mom already had the Hair-cut and make-up!!!

The hair cut was minimal. I wouldn't really consider that hair cut. And the make-up was nice. You couldn't really notice it. Not too over the top. But a color, style and different cut would look nice on her.

My hair is also long. No bangs. I dye it a reddish blond. It is too thick and fine to do much of anything with and too heavy for a perm. But looking in a book and getting to know and asking questions about a hair stylist usually will get you a good result.
