Have any of you seen the VH1 documentary about the last days of Lisa Lopes aka Left Eye from the girl group TLC? One of their hits was "Water Falls". She was killed in a car accident just a few days before returning from Honduras where she was filming a documentary about herself in 2002.

She was notorious for burning down her boyfriend's house in LA after a fight. She says she was only trying to burn his shoes in the bathtub.

The documentary is very moving. There are so many odd things that happen in her life on film just days leading up to her death.

Tip. If you watch it, pay close attention to the end. The camera was rolling when she lost control of the vehicle. It is quite chilling.

Post edited by: Debby, at: 2007/05/21 14:53

Ever since I watched it, I can't stop thinking about it. I hope VH1 reruns it over and over like they do many shows. I read that Lisa's family turned over all the video footage they had and allowed them to make the documentary with no restrictions. I was surprised to learn that Lisa was 30 years old. To hear her talk she sounded more like a teenager to me.

Up until the end, I thought she was killed in a plane crash, so I was surprised at the end. Alieaha (sp?) was the performer who was killed in the Bahamas plane crash earlier.

If any of you get the chance, check it out.
