I think during the Celebrity Fit Club I saw some commercials for beef jerky that were funny... They looked like the super bowl variety meant to be off beat type funny... They showed a bunch of guys playing a trick on the sasquatch character. They are out in the wild and happen on the sleeping monster and put shaving cream in his hand and inevitably he smacks himself in the face with it..and the guys start laughing and running hard... (I guess it's a guy thing or something!)... anyways, Sasq...eventually catches up with them as they get back to the road...and he smacks the perp and the perp goes flying.. then the commercial ends of course.

I think they had a series along the lines of 'fun with sasquatch' or something like that.

Not sure what it had to do with Beef Jerkey... Maybe it's a 'wilderness' theme or a 'guy' theme.. It's one of those skit type commercials with little said.. but all action!

I saw 1 or 2 others..but didn't catch the prank... Of course the shaving cream gag is a classic.. That's probably the only reason it caught my attention.

I could be wrong about what show I saw several of the commercials on last night. I didn't watch a whole lot... and maybe it was on during the premiere TNT movie.

I haven't seen this one KPW... but it does sound pretty funny.

I happened to find this link... I think the beef jerky company is called Jack's Links..

This net link...is interactive and mostly silly. If you get in the game..and click on various things...you can look at a book, or look at the commercials (click on the video camera or something hanging from the tree) It will give you 4 different commercials. The quality isn't great.. and the shaving cream one is the best of the lot.. visually. (The other pranks are the water bowl, salt shaker and binoculars...) I guess he pees himself, dumps a saltshaker of salt on his food, and looks through binoculars and gets dark rings around his eyes..(although you can't see them very well..) The guys each time seem like they get to laughing because of the prank and the prank seems to anger Sasquatch.. and he goes after them or has some sort of anger display each time.

Check it out.. I think it has a game aspect to this link tooo... but I didn't have the patience.

I am sure this is going to be a marketing genius for this company. I happened on alot of hits with people talking about these funny commercials. It looked like it could have been low budget with great audience appeal..and I am sure name recognition for the product!

How about the Windex commerical??!!
The 2 birds are sitting in the tree and one goes around to the front of the house and rings the bell. The man (who is sitting outside reading the paper) gets up goes into the house, checks the front door and no-one is there---in the meantime one bird flys down and closes the sliding glass doors. The windows are so clean the man walks into the door and the birds crack up!!

This commerical must have been made for my ex-mother-in-law! We went to this place and the doors and windows were so clean that she did the same thing!

Sorry have to laugh!

And for all the NASSCAR fans--How about those!!?? You have to understand these guys to really get the jokes behind them. They only show them during the races.

Oh yeah............the windex ones are a hoot!!!!
