Wow, Cassie isreally using drinking as a way of self medicating. I really hope she gets evaluated by a professional for Depression ,Anxiety, AD/HD etc.

I think that cassie also drinks to escape. A lot of drinkers escape. I think Cassie also used it to fit in when she was in high. I know that drinking was a big deal in high school and I had first hand expierence of why not to. My older brother is a drinker or was and he ran into a parkend car riding back to his dorm room on his bike.
I think cassie tries to hard to fit in and after nyanza leaves she really tries harder to get along with christine.
