I hope I have this under the correct topic. I've only recently started watching the show and am not sure on a couple of background matters. I can't recall the characters names yet either, sorry, but... The female doctor who's last name is Grey I think, she is dating one of the surgeons at the hospital. That surgeon is married. Did the female doctor not know he was married or was he separated when they began the relationship? Can someone explain?

Thanks alot. I may just rent the DVDs so I can figure all of the situations out. I wanted to watch it on tv though since it was one show I didn't watch when they originally aired, so they are not repeats to me.

Oh, this is just the BEST show on (evening) TV right now. You are in for a treat catching up.

Also, may I suggest you check out a website called "Grey Matters" , (sorry, I didn't want to post the link in case it was/is against the rules but it is a discussion format/(blog?) from the writers of Grey's Anatomy where they explain the background motives of the characters, etc.

Did anyone else see Grey's Anatomy last night? I find that I am liking some of the characters more than I used to and liking others less.

I have had it with McDreamy. I pray that Meredith moves on and explores a relationship with the vet. I don't even find McDreamy attractive anymore. I like his wife's character better than him. I'm not sure what happened to me but I can barely stand to see the show continue with the Meredith/McDreamy storyline. It's old, move on.

I agree... McDreamy is over rated... he's missing character.

My guess is that although Meredith is extremely attracted to him... she does not want to be the other woman... nor does she want to be the woman to break up a marriage... because that's what happened to her parents. It's time for her to make a decision... McDreamy put the choice in her lap. I think her decision will be adios amigo... we can only hope. LOL
