I remember on the Real World Key West, one of the girls was really messed up mentally and suffered from a serious eating disorder, plus she had a terrible drinking problem. Finally, the show got her into a therapist right there in Key West. She went while she was on the show. She later said they saved her life. I think they were afraid of liablity if they didn't do something. However they try to absolve themself from liability by getting signed waivers, the waiver probably won't save them if the negiligence is very bad.

I guess in any setting like that you encounter people who are very bad off and need inhouse care. I think that might be hard to do if you have a group ready to get wild and party. I think the SO house even ran into problems when they allowed the "little" partying that they did with the wine drinking. I think many people would not bother applying to go on a show that would restrict so very much about them, so as having a glass of wine with dinner.

As if appears Bad Girls Club is coming back, they should get some structure in the house and offer if not insist on a life coach.

Well I finally saw my man, Dr. Stan on The Bad Girls Club. He's still looking so fine.

I'm still a little speechless. Was it scripted? I mean why would BM want those "BAD" girls to sit down and show emotion and be vulnerable with a therapist. That would be bad for ratings, right? I mean Bad Girls on a Road Trip was already in the works. Wouldn't want to calm anybody down or create any self discipline before that is filmed. LOL.

I think Dr. Stan took it well. I think he knew what to expect and he played along. He admitted that he hadn't seen patients as "bad" as these girls in inmates and juvenile delinquents. LOL. I cracked up.

The sad thing is that some of those girls may not have the resources to seek guidance from a nationally recognized mental health professional and their one opportunity to do if for free, they either blew it off because of pride or because the show made them. Tisk, Tisk. What a shame.

Last night while flippng channels, I caught a glimpse of Dr Stan.
I had to stop a minute to watch him tho I had no idea what he was talking about or to whom - I hadn't seen Bad Girls since I attempted to watch the very first episode and just couldn't hang.
It made me realize just how much I have missed Dr Stan!!! He should have his own show!!! What a great guy - and, yes, he did look "fine!"

Next time you can, watch that episode. It is really pretty good, because Dr. Stan is on there. He tries to help, but the girls just don't want any part of him. For the most part, they say they don't have a problem and he should just mind his own business. I thought they were quite rude, but that's why they call them "Bad Girls", right?

He took it all in stride. I know he is well received in the tv world. Why he couldn't get a show, if he wanted one, I don't know.
