WOW! some..not all can be nasty! lol well to clear the air I'm Ty...and I was cast as one of the 7 women picked to live in the "bad girls" house...the show is not an any way similar to Starting over....its a show dedicated to the "vixens" of bad girls....we (the 7 women picked to live in the house) have all had some serious rough times in our childhoods and leading up into our adult hood...so we were brought together to basically look into a mirror and try to overcome some of the things that have held us back in the past! no...there are no life coaches...and I can honestly say that the 6 other women I lived with were far from perfect but actually beautiful women inside and out! So i hope u all watch for yourselves...and dont be so quick to judge...i guarantee there will be at least one women in the house whos character and personality you will grow to love!
Ty

Just to clear it up... SO was produced by B/M but distributed by NBC Universal Studios... In my market it was shown on an nbc station..but I understand that it was also sold and shown by some other networks..

SO was not tied into Oxygen at all... There were a couple cable networks that showed older seasons as reruns.. Nameley TLC showed part of Season 1 and also tvone showed reruns of the first and second season.. But they too dropped the show.

I'm not a fan of RealWorld.. so the comparison doesn't reassure me at all.

Ty, Were you familiar at all with Starting Over?

Post edited by: KPW1956, at: 2006/11/27 17:18

I know that SO is a product of bunim/murray I worked closely with there producers so we were very aware of what shows they produced! What I meant by connection was as far as the synopsis of the two shows...there are NOT alike! From the same creators YES....but not the same storyline! You dont have to be a fan to watch Bad girls club....Im hoping thru all the fighting and bickering of our show....that some young viewers will take some of our stories and see that there is still hope....somewhat like the real world because we have to live together and have our lives taped in an everyday setting....but at the same time we all work towards our goals mentally and physically to try to change things that held us back! The house has some VERY VERY courageous women! And I KNOW its gonna be a hit....because I lived with some of the strongest women I have ever met in my life who have overcame some serious things in there lives!

And yes...I am familiar with starting over...and Dr. Stan for that part (stay tuned for that segment) WOW!

Are you implying that Dr. Stan will have some involvement with the new project?

By saying there will be no life coaches, does that include no counsellors, or regular, trained help. I don't see how a group of unhealthy individuals can train themselves to be healthy, when they've never learned what healthy is or how to achieve the goal of being healthy. It would be like the illiterate teaching each other how to read.

Well considering I cant really say what I want about some aspects of the show (though it kills me to keep it in) lol yeah its defenitely no SO! Even though thats how it was pitched to us (casts) in the beginning....in the end we all ended up pretty much figuring things out about ourselves from living with 6 other "edgy women"......
