Im really tired of these shows going " sleazy" for ratings . As much as i knew, Starting over was an addictive show because we all could relate to it , we all picked things out that we could apply to our lives . It had such a huge following here in NY, i just dont understand . Ive heard about this new show, and i too ( like YME ) ,am feeling that this new show will be ,at the very most, entertaining and of little comfort or help to women like us .
I have not been the same since SO ended...IYANLA HELP !!

I'm going to wait until I watch the show to judge it.

I'm glad that I decided to subscribe to the newsletter. I'll definitely watch "Bad Girls" at least for a while without any expectations. I miss SO, Rhonda, Iyanla and Dr. Stan. I got to where I would write down the Life Coach Tip of the Week and keep them for future reference. With the Thanksgiving holiday right here, I am trying to remember to accept everyone and what they say at face value rather than impose my emotions into the situation. My mother-in-law says I have become too "direct" in my conversations and I close my eyes and thank SO - all three seasons - for giving me the courage to ask for what I want and speak up for myself.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

I just now watched the Oxygen video. I rarely do that cause I'm on dial up and it takes for bleedin ever, and usually not worth the wait.
That blurb seems to be aimed toward Men's fantasies. The sillhouettes (sp?) with the upturned boobs, The sensationalist announcing, just the whole video in general seems like a toned down Mitchell Brothers style of "art." Plus, the title of "Bad Girls Club" really is exploitive.
Too bad Bunim died. I think SO was her baby. Murray looks like a slimey toad.
But question- If abusing drugs and alcohol, or being a gang banger, or hooker doesn't make you a bad girl, what does? I've been one or two of those things myself. I mean, really, define what a bad girl is.

I think it's going to be about women who were really bad, and need to start over to a good life. Ha ving been a "bad girl" I'm really interested in how the "coaches" are going to approach the women. I'm a recovering addict, alkie with 22 years of clean/sober living under my belt. If what I am thinking they are going to do, it would be great to give some women who have no $$$$ like most of the women did (Except Rain & Cassie Bobblehead) on SO. If anyone needs a hand up, it's someone who kicked them selves off the curb and needs to get back up so they can lead a decent life.
Does that mean that Rain & Cassie did not deserve help? Please explain....

Please excuse me if I'm taking this the wrong way, but I am Rain and Starting Over helped me alot and I did deserve the help. I'm off of welfare, out of the projects, I'm a Certified Dream Coach and I'm preparing to relocate to Florida to attend The Art Institute. Life coaching does work and so did Starting Over!
