What do you think now that Lucas won! It seemed that he already knew and they taped his winning performances at another time. (his clothes and glasses were different).

I teach High School and teenagers these days are into HARDCORE and SCREAMO music. I'm not sure what that really means, but I think Lucas presents that kind of style and emotion.

Oh well....I totally agree with you about SuperNovas egos. To me, they look like a bunch of old has beens....Gilby needs an updated haircut and the other guy looks like a nerd straight out of the Anthony Micheal Hall Pretty in Pink era.

Sistine, I agree with your analogy. I read in a thread somewhere that Jason, who used to play with Metallica, looks like little Johnny Whitaker from Family Affair. You may be too young to remember that show. But, I swear he does resemble him, which is sooo funny considering what a tough ass he thinks he is.

I think Lucas may be in line with the abilities of that group. I think Delayna was too good for them and so was Toby. Ryan was a great writer and performer, so I thought them crazy for getting rid of him, but, you don't want someone who is soooo much better than you down front. They don't have to worry about that with Lucas. Their level of talent is more matched.

I can't explain it, but, I always get bad vibs from Lucas. I never enjoyed anything he sang. Most of the others I enjoyed something they performed but not him. THe music SuperNova wrote was pretty bad. I would hate to have to perform to it. SuperNova needed some of those people for their writing skills. One of Storm's original songs was awesome. She was too good for them too.

I heard today that they have been sued to prevent them from using the name SuperNova, as another band has it. They must use Rock Star, SuperNova from now on.

I forgot to mention that on the final vote night, Tommy Lee said that Lucas received the highest number of votes from the night before. I was surprised. I didn't think it was his best night, but, what do I know?

I know you liked Lucas, but, the day after the finale, one of our local rock channels was discussing the outcome and moaning about their choice. All the caller ins were saying it was crazy that he won the thing. I guess Lucas' fans called in their support where it counted.

I also heard the show had terrible ratings, which surprised me. I went to the official website and there were soooo many posts that I didn't bother posting. I mean there were thousands of post per day!!!! I was shocked. The website was really wild. I'm not sure if it is still up or not.
