Thanks for your reply! I will check out Michael Baisden. Yes, Tess was the one that threw the plate, and was a general pain in the butt in Las Vegas. She was so irritating, that we didn't think she would last on the show. No one could seem to get through to her, and as you said, she was narcisstic.

I purchased a quite a few of Iylana's books, and from time to time, go to her website, Inner Visions. How did Rhonda come out with her attempt to get her radio show? Has anyone heard?

Rhonda has been going through a tough time with the breakup from her boyfriend. Her blog indicates she has being doing a lot of self awareness/meditative work on herself.

I never heard anything else about the radio show programs. I hope if something materializes she will share it with us on her blog.

You are lucky! I remember looking forward to getting home in the evening after recording SO that day and enjoying the show. I was so touched by most of the stories. I think the lessons helped me as a person as much as they did the hg. LOL. I learned a lot from that show. I still hope something new will come along and capture the magic SO had.

Where are you located? I didn't know reruns were being aired anywhere right now.

I would love to know the answer to that one too. You are, soooooooooo lucky. I didn't think thery were airing any re-runs either.
I wish there was something we could do to bring that show back on TV. I personally don't like that much reality TV but that show was THE BEST. It was about real people needing and getting help. As you stated Debby, you profited from the lessons, so did I. I MISS IT.
Well just look at the message board. You and I aren't the only ones that do I loved all the coaches. One was as good as the other. I had no favorites. I will say though I wish I had , had a dad like Dr. Stan.

I liked Rhonda, Iyanla and Dr. Stan, although, my thoughts of Dr. Stan were not of a fatherly figure. I would rather date him, that is if he were not married. I see him more as an ideal husband. I guess I'm showing my age. LOL.

I don't think it was too much of a secret that many of the hg kinda had a crush on him, espeically the ones near his age. Besides the fact I think he's sexy, I think he is a topnotch psychologist. If you google him you'll see what I mean.

(I thought about correcting the spelling on reruns but it makes me smile so I'l keeping it there.)

My favorite season was the first season. I loved that season the most out of all of them. So many memorable faces and so many wonderful lessons. I miss that show. I want reruns!!!

I think he would be/is an ideal husband. He is very understanding and considerate. He was an ecellent listener. He HEARD EVERYTHING that was said. Most males don't do that. It's no wonder and I don't doubt it that there were many who had a crush on him. But it's no wonder. Most of the girls there never had that kind of attention, someone who actually cared, was genuine etc. His daughters are very lucky to have him as a dad. He seems so proud of them. I say that because I had no one that treated me that way and that's something I missed in life. All girls need that in a dad.
I have googled him. Again I was not surprised. He's tops in his profession, and look at what he says. "The most rewarding work I have ever done is with Starting Over, because of the closeness I had with those girls" He was able to interact and socialize, He got to know them so they could know themselves.
I still for the life of me do not understand how they could take a program like this off the air, that did so much for all the girls that were in the house. NOTHING will ever replace it.
That was REALITY, but no one wants to hear the good that's being done. JMO I myself didn't miss a show. I taped it and when I couldn't watch it , I couldn't wait to hear how things worked out for everyone. It became my family. I laughed and I CRIED many times. It touched my heart and I learned so much from it.
As far as dating DR. Stan, uh, I am too old for him for one and I don't want another man. Never did I think of him that way. He is sexy though. I'm sure his wife appreciates that. LOL
