New Fall programming notes/discussions 8 Months, 3 Weeks ago
I watch a program that precedes Jerry Springer.. and I've seen ads at the tail end of my program about a new show called 'the Steve Wilkos Show' or something like that.. I think this is one of his security guys that he's been handing the mike over to on his show alot this year.. I see the first couple minutes sometimes.. Anyway, maybe Jerry is retiring.. Hopefully there aren't 2 shows like Jerry's.. One is more than enough. But nothing would surprise me...

I'm not familiar with the show you are referring to. I have seen Jerry Springer, but it's been awhile ago. LOL.

I actually haven't seen much about the new fall programing, just a few on the major networks. I saw one that stars Jimmy Smitz. (Sp?). I adore him and have since he first came on LA Law.
I'll try that show out just because of him. I think it's named Cane.

I'm looking forward to the new season of Brothers & Sisters. I had a slow start with that show, but it then got into it.

I also like Medium. It's a strange show, but very intertaining.

I intend to watch the Grey's Anatomy spinoff, but not Grey's Anatomy. I have lost interest in most all of the characters who are still on there.

Oh, I wasn't pushing the Steve whathisname show.. I just thought it obvious that Springer was priming him.. I hope the show bombs..

I didn't get into very many new shows last season.. I didn't even know that Grey's Anatomy was going to have a spin off!

The only show I got into was silly but cute... I do enjoy it's wacky story lines and often times basic truth's type messages.. That show is Ugly Betty... Some things I don't like about it...I think they could make the same points and story line without being obscene and crass sometimes..

But I am looking forward to the season debut..

I can't believe all the new shows that are being put out there.. I guess with cable now in the running.. they are all also competeing for viewership and offering up new original programming.

Sometimes it's so much that it's overwhelming..

Grey's Anatomy's spinoff is about McDreamy's ex-wife and her new life after leaving the hospital and city where her husband lives and works. She takes a position at a clinic where some of her old friends work. I think it is in a city in California. Lots of good actors and the chemistry seems hot. I think this show will be much better than Grey's Anatomy. I think the same writers though.

It's funny when I think about growing up and we had 4 channels. ABC, CBS, NBC and PBS. We had an antenae on top of the house. For some reason we had trouble getting NBC. All of the shows on that channel were fuzzy or had static noise. Now with my extended cable, I must have over 200 channels and I still sit in frustration that there is nothing to watch. LOL.

Most of the movies on tv I have seen many times before. I still enjoy watching the old reruns of Little House on the Pairie though. That came on orginally on NBC and I didn't get to see the shows until years later because we didn't get NBC clearly.
