I was at a checkout yesterday and peeked into one of those silly tabloid mags.. I spotted an article saying something about Whoopie taking a cut in pay to come onto the View.. It also mentioned (I didn't read the whole article but a small blurb was on a photo of Sherry) that Sherry was still being considered. With that, I checked the date of the magazine..and it was current. Might have even had the 20th of August on it. Not sure which mag it was, but I think it had something about Whoopie and the View on the front..
I do hope they hire Sherry.. I thought she'd be a good addition.. I thought Debby or someone mentioned that she was balking at the pay.. Hey, it could be a stepping stone to greater things. I think she'd be stupid to quibble about the money.. I didn't even know who she was before seeing her on The View..
PS: I saw your post dbmcmommy, ... I think Whoopie is filling Meredith/Rosie's hosting slot.. Sherry or someone else will fill in Star's old spot.. They never filled hers this past year.. I think if they can get 4 panelists back on in regular roles.. then Barbara will probably just go back to being a 5th wheel and fill-in a time or 2 a week..
