I agree Wish. Rhonda is changing...has changed...and not for her good or anyone elses. 'Her Story' has been taken down, maybe not, but I can't access it. But in reading through her blog...I think she is a certifiable NUTJOB. Speaking of the brain, which is THE LEAST known about organ in the body, Rhonda seems to know so much about the brain. I think she's into 'brainwashing' for the almighty dollar. I'm not buying it. She sucks in the weak and desperate which, for me, is pathetic and sad. Rhonda lost me many, many months ago.
I don't wish her anything bad. I hope she is, in fact, with Mr. LoveAlot or whatever she calls him. And he has a little daughter who she can mother. That's good. But I think Rhonda is fake and phoney...to the bone. I'm not buying her BS. Rhonda is all about making money. Period. JMHO, however.

I wonder if Rhonda has checked out your and other's posts here recently. Check out her July 10 blog. It is VERY interesting. She talks about whether she has changed or not. She says she was at home only 6 days in the month of June on purpose. She doesn't mention Mr. Love-A-Lot. His absence is quite obvious. I was quite shocked at all the personal turmoil she has undergone the last few months. It's hard to tell exactly what happened.
Did she relapse? It's hard to tell exactly. What do you guys think?

I just read her blog this morning.
To me, it sounds like that she flying solo again and trying to regain her bearings..
I don't think any wilderness experience would change the basis of who we are which is how I read some of her entry.. Maybe the seclusion experience was supposed to help her grieve and/or heal..or get back to the root of who you are to begin with.
I think we all go through seasons of growth after 'events' in our life..
The absense of any reference to Mr. Love A Lot and a reference that she was only home 6 days in June.. is a huge clue that things are not well on that front.
I remember her writing about buying her first home... and then helping him with his.. (painting and stuff) Then it sounded like they were living together.. I imagine maybe she's back in her own place..
I hope she is doing ok .... Sometimes it just takes time...

That's the take I had on it KPW, but I also felt as if she had had some kind of relapse. I don't know if she says that specifically or I read it between the lines. Of couse, it could be a relapse in to feeling insecure about herself, not necessarily susbstance abuse.
The blog sounds as if she has gotten it together at this point. Although she didn't say just what happened, I know from personal experience that there is no pain like having your heart broken by a man that you love with all your mind, body and soul. It can really put you in a state. I know what that's like. The only healer for me was time. What ever the source of her struggle I wish her strength.
I finally saw that episode on Oprah last week where Rhonda talks about the death of her parents. That show had me in tears. That lady whose husband and baby who were killed in the plane crash left me sobbing. I honestly don't know how people get through those kind of horrors. It sure made me feel silly for complaining about the small problems in my life. It really puts things into prospective.

I saw the Oprah show last week too... it not only puts things into prospective, but gives hope and gratitude for what we have.
