Thanks for that link. It does appear to be her. If she was the one who defaced the photos, that is horrible. I mean it's not murder, but I would feel odd associating myself with a vandal who vandalized my former employer. Oh well, that' just me.

What was really odd is the makeup lady in that video. Does anyone need that much makeup? All that patting on Rosie's face looks like she is removing skin she rubbed so much. LOL.

The truly unfortunate part of one of Rosie's staff defacing a poster is that it reduced all the good contributions Rosie had made in keeping the focus on the war, 911, etc. The amateurish acton of this staffer made Rosie's crew look childish - even if they were right.

I hope that what's her face - On the D List - does not become a regular. One sarcastic comedienne - Joy - is enough and Kathy Griffen is just out to show off her nightclub skills which by her own categorization are on the "D" list. Not saying she isn't a wonderful person, but her humor is lost on me.

And Kathie Lee Griffen isn't anyone I would invite to an intellectual gathering either......... <meow>.

Are you confusing Kathy Griffen with Kathie Lee Gifford?

Just wondering... Wasn't sure how Kathie Lee Gifford might have gotten thrown into the mix..

I get the feeling that Kathy Griffen is like Howard Stern.. Says stuff for shock value..

I did see part of the show where they were talking about foul language and some shows.. When it is, and when it isn't appropriate and if it is deemed 'spontaneous'... or something like that. They were saying that cable tv it seems to have become more acceptable.

I got the impression the panel regulars seemed to think there is a time and place for everything..and The View isn't the place for showcasing colorful language. I thought they might have been making references back to the blow up between Rosie and Elisabeth.. I heard there was some pretty strong language used that might have been edited out.

Joy said she uses foul language in her 'act' but she doesn't on the View.

I think they can make things funny without having to resort to foul language..

I didn't pick up at the time that there was any animosity going on between the 2 (Kathy and Barbara).. Maybe I was in the midst of channel surfing and didn't watch the segment long enough.

Sounds like Kathy was being a bit presumptuous thinking she could broker an invitation to one of Barbara's parties.. But then again, maybe she knew it would get a rise out of Barbara.

I think she was on the show for a couple of straight days and I wondered if they were trying her on for size..to be a regular panel member. I hope they don't go with her.. and from the sounds of it, she might have blown her chance..<br><br>Post edited by: KPW1956, at: 2007/06/07 17:02

Rosie did answer this on her blog. Helene (I think that's her name) did in fact deface ONE picture (not saying it was right, but it was not a bunch of pictures) and as far as I have read Rosie has not condoned that action in the least....at least not pubicly.

Yes, I agree with almost everything you say, except I do like Kathy Lee, however, I don't think she is right for The View. Kathy Griffin, I am not wild about. She can be funny at times, but she doesn't know when to shut up. I mean what is funny about harrassing Barbara into using a word that Barbara considers foul. That's just annoying and stupid to me.

KPW, I think they brought her back today, but I haven't seen it.

I tuned in toward the end of the show and yes, Kathy Griffen was back. But as we've seen with many Friday shows, they have often been pretaped. They may only work 3 or 4 days per week.

I have a hunch that this was pretaped..

I know you record it to watch later. Let me know if you sensed any more animosity between Kathy and Barbara..

The show was due to wrap for the season this week or next..
