Did anyone see the season premire last night? It was the follow up to the pumpkin sling accident on the farm. I thought it was really good. Thank goodness everyone is okay.
Did you notice that after the accident Amy asked about her son's location and someone said that he had been moved. Why do you think they moved a person with a head injury? Just curious.
Also, I couldn't tell if Matt is still working for that marketing firm or not. Did they mention that at all or did I miss it?
The entire family was on the Today Show yesterday. It appears they have become kinda like celebs.
I just pray that this season Amy gets an attitude adjustment. Her criticism of Matt is sooo old. Maybe she will settle down a little if their finances are not so tight. This show should have helped them out in that way.

I'm tivoing the new season!!! I really enjoy this series. Because it's real.........and there are things I agree with and would love to do, and things I do completely differently! But I do love watching it!!
Debby............there are two different reasons Jacob may have been moved. 1. There were only bystanders there who had no medical training/common knowledge and just reacted. OR 2. There was an immediate danger type of reason he was moved. Oh soooo glad they're all okay........that whole incident could have been tremendously worse!!!
Next week shows Matt's dad in a car accident too.......I really feel for the guy when he was talking about the Roloff's having a lot of tough times! But I think most of us do go thru those times of it seeming to be consistently rough.....then consistently blessed!!!!

Thanks for the med info Grizz. I hadn't forgotten you are an emergency medical professional if my memory serves me correctly.
I have always been taught to never move someone who has been injured unless there is a good reason such as they are in a burning car or something extreme. I suspect that they did get the actual incident on tape but didn't use it out of sensity to all involved. PerhaPS they didn't know what else to do.
When Matt arrived, it looked as if there were some people with some medical knowledge applying pressure to Mike's bleeding head. I forgot the number of stitches he got but it was a lot!
To be hit by that large object and survive is a miracle!
I love Matt and all, but, the minute I saw that pumpkin sling I cringed. It looks very dangerous. I would not put myself nor my child within a mile of it. I don't know what they were thinking when they used it as a source of entertainment. I hope they now have health insurance.
Now, the zip line Matt had built on the farm looked okay to me. He had it checked out by experts for safety and they said it was okay. I think it looked fine, although, a young man from our county was with his church group a few months ago on a zip line and he went down head first, which is inappropiate, and was killed. It was very sad. Accidents can happen anywhere amd anytime. I hope Matt's dad isn't hurt too bad.

I'm so with ya Debby on the safety issues!! I think the trebuchet would be fun entertainment AFTER it had been checked by professionals and everyone had to be a safe distance!!! It is fun to watch those things..........but there are ways to do it to keep everyone safe.......especially children!!!
I think there's a balance to raising kids too paranoid or too dangerous. Always comes down to that balance and safety issue, doesn't it?? LOL
That is sad about the zip line accident. I think with all the fun activities, there is just no reason to push the envelope into danger!!
I hope everything turns out well too........guess we'll see tonight!!

I can't wait. I see the show's ads for the upcoming show on ALL the time. I wonder how that is affecting the kids. I don't know how I would react with a clip of me on tv along with my family being broadcasts ever 15 minutes. I'm sure those guys friends see the same thing we do. I swear, they run the previews for the upcoming show ALL day.
