It's not a promlem, we need encouraged especially in the tough times. I can relate to the situation with you and a sibling with a mentle illness as I have an aunt who has a mental condition as well, and I can also relate to the alcoholic situation as well because my dad chose drugs and drinking over being a dad or father.
I totally agree with you, about the maturing part as well. My view on this is to "take it as a life lesson" learn from it, and don't make the same mistakes they did. I've came a really long way in the past oh going on a year now, ever since September of last year.
I not only got my learners lisenses in December of last year two days before my Grandmothers birthday, and I will soon have my actual lisenses, but I have gotten a job so I can help out with the bills and things.
Things are sure looking brite in the future, and we all need to stop living for yesterday because it's the past we can't change it but we have to look to the future and instead of counting our troubles and hard times, lets all count our blessings.
No one ever said that life would be easy, but the Lord did promise to be with us, to lead, guide, and protect us always. He also said He will deliver us from any and all situations if we just believe in Him, trust Him, seek Him, read and study His word and meditate in His word.
