As most of you know my mom and dad left when my sister was 3 years old and I was between 10 months and not a year old.
We were ket apart for almost 20 years, but about 2 1/2 months ago my mom came into my life and she is with someone who is like a father to me and he claims me as hs daughter and I call him my dad.
Things have been going very well so far, things haven't been so good as far as my biological dad and I are concerned though.
I don't know where he is or even if he's alive anymore, but I still pray for and about him.
This is a major life change for me and I sure hope things continue to go well for us, I managed to convince my mom to go to church with me last Sunday and even took her to the alter with me and we prayed.
I looked her in the eyes and told her "mom tell me the honest truth about something, do you know Jesus Christ personally" nervous as ever to hear her response.
I told her "mom you can come to church all you want to, pray all you want to, read the BIBLE all you want to and everything else but that doesn't save you and I told how all about how to get saved.
She looked me in the eyes and reassured me of things, she said to me "baby it's okay, things are okay and right, I know Jesus personally".
I felt she was telling me the truth after all she did look me in the eyes and say it to me for the first time ever, and had she not been telling the truth I'm sure that God would have given me a sign and spoken to me telling me ohter wise.
Here I am soon to be 20 in July, and my mother and I have finally gotten a relationship going that is really working. I have seen her more in the past 2 1/2 months than I have in my whole life.
My mother and I are doing wonderful as of now, this message is being put on here as a word of encouragement to others out there who have a situation like mine or close to it.
Forgive them no matter what the situation is or was, pray about things and then leave the rest in the Lords hands as I did and just trust in Him, and have faith in Him then things will work out for the best.
Please continue to help me pray about things, thanks for the prayers and kind words that have already been said.
Take care and God bless everyone always,
Sue
