I doubted the medical problem, but what ever it was, it cleared up quick, because later that day after she got home she had Sprinkles Cup Cakes deliver cup cakes to her house. I saw that. I also heard she called in her hair stylist and makeup person.

It's funny. Whenever I am sick, I don't feel much like cup cakes and having my hair and makeup done.
LOL.

You know I wonder if the Sheriff is afraid that the Hilton's could help financially with his opponent's campaign in the next election.
There is really nothing illegal about that. He could be scared to not back down because in 4 years he could really be in trouble if his opponent had all that money behind them.

re: the money election element..

But i think in this case, people are getting wise to the excesses that monetary influences have. It's almost a type of corruption... I hope the vast majority of people vote the sheriff out.. Do you know when the next election is? That should be interesting!

I don't think it's very fair to have 2 different standards of how the law is enforced or interpretted.

One for the 'have's' and another for the 'have nots'...

I think the majority of people were put off with her getting out after a mere 3 days...

Could Swarzneggar as Governor, commute the sentence? Or affect the dispute in some way. Maybe they'll make her serve a week and let her out on good behavior...

Post edited by: KPW1956, at: 2007/06/08 16:48

Paris is being made the poster child for anybody who has lost a loved one to drunk driving and it is wrong, cruel she does not deserve to be in jail, she needs her mom to help her understand how serious drinking and driving is.

Wish, I wasn't sure what exactly the original offenses were so I did a bit of research. Not sure how accurate wikipedia is... but it mentions the sequence of events and infractions that caused her to be where she is..

The bio mentions that she moved alot while she was growing up..and attended several schools and dropped out of high school and got her GED. It would probably be a good idea for her to go back to school!

This wikipedia piece mentions that in 2004 she was working with Sean Combs (Puff Daddy) trying to help get the vote out. She apparently drew criticism, because she herself had never registered or voted..

This does mention several traffic offenses... She was caught driving on a revoked permit twice.. The original offense was DUI.. The second time she was caught driving she was doing 70 in a 35 zone with her headlights off at night. When the judge or D.A. found out she hadn't pursued court ordered alcohol education programs.. her probation was revoked and she was ordered to serve the time.

I think at 26 years of age...she's old enough to know better. Or should! She doesn't need her mommy to bail her out of this one.

Here is a link to the wikipedia info.. It's up to date including the shenanigans of the last couple of days...

I have no reason to believe the basic points of the information aren't true. I know some have criticized wikipedia.. But it sounds about right..

wish, no offense, but Paris' parents are a huge part of her problem. She deserves to go to jail and maybe this will straighten her up. She is spoiled, irresponsible and out of control. I hope she has to do the entire 45. I heard they have her in the medical wing now. She is so upset that they are worried she might harm herself. Please!!!!! That is a load of crap. She is throwing a tantrum in hopes of getting her way. Paris needs to grow up.
