Starting Over Talk

Barbara Walters said that Paris called her yesterday.

According to Barbara,
Paris said that in the past she acted dumb and she realized that it's not very cute anymore. That she is 26 now and she needed to grow up. That being dumb is not a good image for young girls to look up too. Also that her spiritual avisor said that her soul didn't like the way she was living so she ended up in jail for what she did. She also said that she realizes that she can best use her power (with the media) to better uses......


I feel it's one of those... wait and see.

It certainly is not my place to judge anyone on their spiritual conversion, however it seems odd that it comes only when her popularity in the media is going down. I thought it was supposed to be about how you feel on the inside and not what people are saying.

I wish her the best. I hope she makes a change on the inside and then works on helping other people after she gets herself stright.

I question her sincerity. Time alone will tell..

Seems like it was an abrupt attitude change.. I saw with 36 hours of her being put back in jail that she and her reps had made an announcement that she would drop the appeals and serve her time.

Last night one of the talk shows was talking about her having ADD and claustrophobic... I think they are trying to use whatever to explain her poor behavior.

Her sense of en_title_ment has been what has gotten her in trouble and thinks that rules don't apply to her just because she has money.
I do hope she has learned some lessons through this experience. She very well could turn her life around and be a role model for others.. But as I say, time will tell. I just have the feeling that she is just playing the media and the authorities. I heard that there is a good chance she would only be in about 2 weeks and get time off for good behavior.. Part of having good behavior would entail having a better attitude about her situation.

I thought the judge on Friday gave her 45 days again. Then I heard she told Barbara Walters 25 days. Which is it?

If Barbara doesn't stop defending Paris, her mother and the Sheriff! It is pathetic and shameful.

If you heard what she said to Barbara by telephone on Sunday, you know that she once again complained that she was serving a greater percentage of her time than other inmates and that her skin was dry. She really makes me sick.

I have never had much respect for Al Sharpton, but I'm behind him on this one. I even agree with Nancy Grace. WOW. Imagine that... Al Sharpton and Nancy Grace on the same side. LOL.

I thought I understood that yes they reinstituted her original sentence but apparently the sheriffs have at their discretion to let her go after she serves a certain amount. I guess similar to early parole..

I hope she serves the whole time..

I just thought the other day it was ridiculous that they said she had a breakdown, they put her in the jail's hospital facility and supposedly giving her drugs to combat her hysteria.. Then they release a statement a day or 2 later saying she was giving up the appeal process and she would serve her time.. The released statement didn't sound like her at all.. Let's see... Must be that PR man again...

Now we have her talking to Barbara... Heck Barbara knew her mom. Strikes me that it's a ploy to key in on the media..

I can understand if Barbara tries to be ambiguous about the situation. It is such a joke, that she probably doesn't want to 'pile on' because of Kathy Hilton being a friend. I really can understand that.

But hey, I can't understand how someone can do such a turn around of attitudes and suddenly become spiritual.. She's just trying to do damage control.. She was only put back in the jail on Thursday or so..

Susan McDougal (from the Clinton era) thought it grossly unfair for her to have been shown preferential treatment.

Who said something about her having dry skin? If she's trying to 'flake' out... that is really bad... Someone give her a jar of vaseline!

I don't think she gets it yet... She probably doesn't really care.. It's just crimping her _style_.. I bet she's out before June is over!

Barbara reported yesterday that Paris complained of dry skin and the fact she didn't have any moisturiser. I wonder if she said that part before of after she announced her spiritual awakening.

Word is her dad is planning a huge "out of jail party." It will probaby be a charity event with the proceeds going to help all those white, wealthy, self-absorped, airheads who like to drink and drive and need money for legal fees, bail and donations to the Sheriff's reelection campaign. Just kiddin. LOL.
