They both have websites.
www.promisesmalibu.com and I'll have to double check on Passages. The living room area on the Promises website does resemble the room they taped Christie's visit, however the outside of the Passages looks more like the one shown on SO.
I remember I made a post about the fancy digs and the unique beliefs of the one featured on SO, so I'll try to find it in the archives.
It seems like the one on SO had a father and son who were the owners. I think I'm right on this. Let me know if you find more.
