Starting Over Talk

Do you remember when SO sent Christie to an alternative type of Rehab center. It was VERY upscale and had a unique philosophy about addiction. Christie thought it was too snobby.

I remember I did research on it at the time time. The website was unreal. Was it Promises or Passages? I think it was one of them.

Supposedly Britney and Lindsay are at Promises.

Wow, now I am confused too..

I thought it was Promises..but Passages sounds familiar too.

I think Lindsay Lohan is at Promises the same one Britney was in. I think I posted at the time Britney went in because I did think it was the same one. But now I'm not so sure...

Passages and Promises sounds very similar.

I think I tried to do a search on this site to no avail.. Maybe I'll see if I can do some sort of search online to get the info..

They both have websites. www.promisesmalibu.com and I'll have to double check on Passages. The living room area on the Promises website does resemble the room they taped Christie's visit, however the outside of the Passages looks more like the one shown on SO.

I remember I made a post about the fancy digs and the unique beliefs of the one featured on SO, so I'll try to find it in the archives.

It seems like the one on SO had a father and son who were the owners. I think I'm right on this. Let me know if you find more.

I found it. KPW you posted www.passagesmalibu.com on Feb. 23, 2206 here. There was a discussion about Christie going there and people were saying it was dangerous to for her to ever think she could drink again, which Passages believes. They don't believe once an addict always an addict.

I suspect Promises and Passages are sister facilities. What do you think?

I went to the blog site and looked back some episodes..and found a Feb. 21st entry mentioning Christie and her Passages group. So I think it was Passages and not Promises..
